Optio Publishing Inc. conceptually began in the spring of 2002 by a team of professionals spanning the health care and information technology fields. Our flagship product, Optio Dentistry™, was launched in March of 2003, and has been quickly adopted by the dental community.

As reflected in our name, Optio, (meaning assistant in Latin), our vision is to assist health professionals communicate complex procedures to patients in an effective manner, helping patients feel more comfortable with the treatments they will receive.
