The first step to setting up Optio TV is to plug the Apple TV into the power outlet and connect it to your TV using the accompanying HDMI cable. Turn the TV on and set it to the corresponding input.
Next, tap the button on the Apple TV remote to turn on the device. You will first have to select your language. Swipe your finger up and down on the top half of the remote to scroll between the various language options. Press down to select the highlighted language. Do the same for your region.
Choose “Set Up Manually” and select your office WiFi network from the list. When entering the WiFi password, be aware that WiFi passwords are typically case-sensitive. Switch between upper and lower case by choosing the “AAA” and “aaa” options below the letters.
Next, you will be asked to enter your Apple ID and password. If you already have an Apple ID for your practice, great! If not, you can create an Apple ID through iTunes, following the instructions here: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT204316

Now that your Apple TV is configured, the next step is to install the Optio TV app. Launch the App Store from the home screen and swipe right to open the “Search” tab.
Enter “Optio TV” and select the Optio TV icon from the results below. Choose “Get” from the next screen. You may be asked to re-enter your Apple ID password.
After Optio TV has downloaded and installed, select “Open” or choose the Optio TV icon from the home screen. You will be prompted to enter your Optio Account ID and password. This is the email and password provided when you first ordered Optio TV or Optio Dentistry. Don’t worry, you will only need to enter this once.
If you don’t remember your password, you can reset it at https://www.optiopublishing.com/account/reset-password. If you do not know the email address used call us at 1-866-906-7846 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
After logging in, the app will download the content to be played. This may take several minutes depending on the speed of your WiFi. This only happens when the app is first launched, if the content is updated, or the storage on the device is cleared.
